The African Centre for Peace and Security (ACPST), established in 2011, is a newly created centre in Addis Ababa with a mandate to enhance the ability of practitioners to improve human security in Africa. more


UNDP's Democratic Governance and Capacity Development Programme is couched within the global UNDP support for building an inclusive, responsive and capable state as an agent of development. Our programme seeks to support the Government of Ethiopia to deepen democratization, improve governance and public service delivery.

Special focus is on interventions that promote: Inclusive participation, Accountability and Transparency,  Capacity Building and Grounding UN Democratic governance principles.
