  • Africa Adaptation Programme

    Ethiopia's Africa Adaptation Programme (AAP) supports the Ethiopian leadership in the establishment of an integrated approach to Ethiopia’s management of climate change opportunities and risks. It supports the integration of climate change into the planning and implementation of the national development strategy by ensuring the Agriculture, Energy, Environment, Health and Water sectors take into consideration the costs, opportunities and risks that climate change.more 

  • Mainstreaming Agro-biodiversity into the Agricultural Production System of Ethiopia

    This project supports efforts to help safeguard Ethiopia’s biodiversity, ecosystems and ecological processes from human-induced pressures. At the same time, the country's unique biodiversity is part of a sustainable Protected Area System that is contributing significantly to economic development, both locally and nationally.more 

  • Sustainable Development of the Protected Area System in Ethiopia (SDPASE)

    This project supports efforts to help safeguard Ethiopia’s biodiversity, ecosystems and ecological processes from human-induced pressures. At the same time, the country's unique biodiversity is part of a sustainable Protected Area System that is contributing significantly to economic development, both locally and nationally.more 

  • MDG Environment Joint Programme

    This Joint Programme primarily targets some of the most vulnerable communities in four drought prone Regions of Ethiopia, and focuses on strengthening the pastoral communities to adapt to the adverse effects of climate change, threatening their livelihoods. more
